We are incredibly excited to announce that we are welcoming two care homes to our Mulberry community across Kirklees. Castle Grange and Claremont House are now part of the Mulberry family!

We are expanding our network so that we can bring our trusted and professional care to more families across the extended Huddersfield area. Both homes have adopted and embraced our person-centred values. We ensure all residents, new or long-standing, receive the high standard of care that we pride ourselves on.

Introducing Castle Grange

Located in the small village of Newsome, just south of Huddersfield, Castle Grange is a countryside haven. Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of town life, this serene home prioritises creating a safe and comfortable home for your loved ones.

With a capacity of forty rooms, this home fosters a true sense of community for your loved one. Our beautiful garden is fully wheelchair accessible, allowing everyone to enjoy the fresh countryside air safely. We strive to create a community of inclusivity in our homes. Regardless of your mobility, conditions, or medical needs, everyone is included in our vibrant activities.

We have a fully equipped resident kitchenette. Maintaining a sense of independence and normality is crucial in care homes — even the simple pleasure of making your own cup of tea. This space is also open to any visitors and families to use.

Like all of our homes, our team at Castle Grange creates personalised care plans for every resident, no matter how small or complex their medical needs may be. With nurses on-site 24 hours a day, our residents are constantly supported by clinical professionals. We specialise in dementia care, with our staff being highly trained in the nuances of dementia.

As a pet-friendly home, we understand the bond between you and your animals. You won’t have to part with your beloved pets, service animals, or therapy animals in our care.

Introducing Claremont House

Located in a historic market town in Kirklees, between Huddersfield and Leeds, this home is perfect for families living in the surrounding cities. A short journey will bring you away from the bustle of city life and into this relaxing market town. We are very excited to expand our support into the heart of West Yorkshire.

This home features forty rooms, which are distinctly designed into four units. Each unit features personal rooms, communal areas, and a residential kitchenette. This layout creates four smaller and quieter communities within the home, which is perfect for residents dealing with anxiety or who simply prefer a calmer, more intimate environment.

This home is pet-friendly for any service animals, therapy animals, or beloved pets. Our garden is fully enclosed and secure, so you can be sure that pets and residents are always safe. This private outdoor space is a sanctuary for relaxation and summer activities. The garden and extended site are completely wheelchair accessible, so no one misses out on the fun.

Our team specialises in dementia care, with 24-hour support that ensures medical and well-being needs are consistently and compassionately attended to.

The Mulberry Family

At Mulberry, we take pride in the care that we provide. We understand how incredibly difficult it can be to navigate life with a complex condition, or to trust someone else with the care of your loved one. That is why we value each resident with individualised care provided with respect and compassion.

With our highly trained staff, we are confident that Castle Grange and Claremont House will reflect our passion for personalised care that makes a true difference to the lives of our residents.

We would like to thank the Kirklees community for continuing to trust and support the work that we do at Mulberry. We are currently welcoming new residents and enquiries across our homes.
